MICHAEL SAUTER
Michael Sauter, born on June 21, 1976 in Biel/Bienne, lives as a musician and composer in Zurich. He came into contact with music at an early age, played concerts as a drummer in various bands in his youth and began producing beats himself in 1996 using the sampler, which can be heard on the various albums by the hip-hop group L’DeeP from Bern. During his studies at the CEPV Vevey art college (Bachelor in visual communication), he began composing music as a stage musician and sound designer for the independent theater group 400asa and for the Theater Neumarkt in Zurich. From 2003 onwards he increasingly established himself as a film music composer and composed numerous scores for films. He also founded his own label “Air Afrique Records” in 2014, with which he regularly releases music and plays with the band “Dirty Slips” as a drummer in clubs and festivals.
